Installation Guidelines
To install the product, follow these simple steps:
- Choose the location for the sensor on your door or window frame. Make sure it is within 10 mm of the magnet part when the door or window is closed.
- Clean the surface where you will be attaching the sensor with a dry cloth to ensure a strong adhesive bond.
- Peel off the protective film on the 3M tape or screw the sensor in place, making sure it is secure.
- Install the magnet part on the opposite side of the sensor on the door or window.
- Open the Tuya or Smart Life app on your phone and follow the instructions to add the sensor to your network.
- Test the sensor by opening and closing the door or window to ensure it is working properly.
Note: Do not mount the sensor directly on or near metal framing or other large metallic objects as this may interfere with the sensor's function. Also, make sure to only place the sensor indoors and away from water or other extreme weather conditions to ensure longevity.
